A very funny thing is happening in Ancaster


When a rambunctious trio of proteans – three choristers playing the largely silent roles of slaves, citizens, soldiers and eunuchs – kept garnering rounds of applause with every appearance on stage, it became instantly apparent the talented Theatre Ancaster’s version of Stephen Sondheim’s bawdy, raucous and rib-tickling A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum was an unqualified hit.
